**Job Title** Artificial Intelligence – Intern **Role Summary** Support the AI engineering team in transforming cutting‑edge generative AI concepts into production‑ready solutions. Participate in the full AI lifecycle—from prototyping and prompt engineering to evaluation, deployment, and monitoring—while adhering to best practices for reliability, scalability, and ethical compliance. **Expectations** - Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (Computer Science, MIS, Electrical Engineering, or related field) with a minimum 3.0 GPA. - Available for a full‑time 12‑week summer internship. - Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills. - Commit to learning and applying modern AI engineering practices and governance standards. **Key Responsibilities** - Experiment with generative AI models and platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Microsoft 365 Copilot). - Design and execute prompt‑engineering strategies, including Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG). - Evaluate AI applications for performance, cost efficiency, bias, and content safety. - Gather and translate business requirements into actionable generative‑AI solutions. - Identify automation opportunities and assist in implementing solutions to improve operational efficiency. - Apply appropriate tools and best practices to ensure reliability of AI‑driven workflows. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI/ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face). - Understanding of generative AI concepts, prompt engineering, and RAG techniques. - Ability to assess model performance, cost metrics, and ethical considerations. - Basic knowledge of cloud services and data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure). - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills. - Effective interpersonal and communication abilities for cross‑functional collaboration. **Required Education & Certifications** - Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline. - Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. - No specific certifications required; relevant coursework or projects in AI/ML is advantageous.
