Job Description: Job Title: Presales Solutions Architect - Retail Role Summary: Design and deliver tailored technical solutions for commercial retail clients, bridging business needs with technology to drive innovation in convenience retail. Expactations: 3–5 years of client-facing technical or pre-sales experience; expertise in retail automation, cloud technologies, and POS systems. Key Responsibilities: - Lead pre-sales technical engagements, including project scoping, demos/POCs, and RFI/RFP/RFQ responses. - Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design scalable, compliant retail solutions aligned with business goals. - Advocate for product integration, train stakeholders, and troubleshoot deployments. - Analyze industry trends and translate complex technical concepts into business language for client communication. - Travel frequently to MEA client sites for direct customer engagement. Required Skills: - Advanced knowledge of XML, Java, REST, SOAP, MS-SQL, and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS). - Experience with APIs, retail POS systems, automation, and payment gateways. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills for C-suite audiences. - Ability to synthesize technical requirements into business solutions and manage customer relationships. - Proficiency in continuous integration and test-driven development methodologies. Required Education & Certifications: - Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics. - Technical certifications in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) or retail technology platforms preferred.
