**Job Title:** Systems Engineer / DevOps / Cloud (M/F)
**Role Summary:**
Senior DevOps Consultant responsible for designing, automating, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, containerized infrastructures, and cloud platforms. Works within an agile engineering team to support production and pre‑production environments, provide expertise to development and operations teams, and drive continuous improvement of deployment solutions.
**Expectations:**
- Significant hands‑on experience with Linux/Unix systems and cloud environments.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and optimize automated deployment processes.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to code quality, and proactive contribution to technical stack evolution.
- Collaborative mindset, agile methodology knowledge, and willingness to stay current with emerging technologies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage production and pre‑production environments; coordinate releases.
- Provide DevOps support to development and operations teams; participate in bid analysis and cost estimation.
- Maintain and support existing software applications.
- Select, install, and administer DevOps tooling (CI/CD, configuration management, infrastructure as code).
- Enhance containerized infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes) and develop automation mechanisms for hosting platforms.
- Implement configuration management, build strategies, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
- Automate hosting platform provisioning (VMware, OpenStack, IaaS).
- Conduct technology scouting and share findings with the team.
**Required Skills:**
- Linux/Unix administration; web servers (Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, HAProxy); databases (MySQL, SQL/NoSQL).
- CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Maven, Gradle.
- Automation/Infrastructure‑as‑Code: Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Rundeck.
- Containerization: Docker; orchestration: Kubernetes, Helm.
- Cloud platforms: Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure.
- Scripting: Python, Bash.
- Monitoring/Logging: ELK stack, SonarQube.
- Virtualization/IaaS: VMware, OpenStack.
- Agile methodologies: Scrum, TDD/BDD, Software Craftsmanship.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+4/5 equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.
