**Role Summary**
Lead the strategic direction, development, and execution of the organization’s IT and OT initiatives. Drive digital transformation, ensure scalable, secure, and compliant systems, oversee infrastructure operations, and partner with senior leadership to align technology with business goals.
**Expectations**
- 15+ years of progressive IT leadership, including senior management experience.
- Proven track record in digital transformation and industrial technology integration, preferably in mining or a comparable industrial environment.
- Strong business acumen, ability to translate technology strategy into measurable KPIs and cost‑effective solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with CIO to define and execute IT/OT strategy, metrics, and KPIs.
- Lead digital transformation projects, enhancing infrastructure, processes, and OT system integration.
- Establish internal controls, ensuring scalable, secure, reliable systems that comply with industry standards and best practices.
- Oversee network, database, communications, and equipment operations, maintaining high availability and cost efficiency.
- Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for operational improvement across the organization.
- Manage vendor and service provider relationships, ensuring collaboration and cost effectiveness.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, providing recommendations to senior leadership.
- Lead, coach, and develop the IT team, fostering a high‑performance culture.
- Oversee system‑generated reporting modifications to meet evolving business needs.
- Execute special projects and duties as assigned.
**Required Skills**
- Strategic leadership and management of large IT/OT teams.
- Expertise in digital transformation, industrial automation, and OT integration.
- Strong understanding of IT governance, security, compliance, and risk management.
- Project and portfolio management, including budget oversight.
- Vendor management and contract negotiation.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and executive‑level presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with ability to develop KPIs and derive actionable insights.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- (Preferred) Advanced certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or related industry credentials.
