**Job Title:** Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis **Role Summary:** Lead the corporate financial planning and analysis function for a real‑estate portfolio. Build and maintain complex financial models, manage the annual budgeting and forecasting cycle, provide insights to senior leadership, and mentor junior finance staff. **Expectations:** - Deliver timely, accurate budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses. - Translate financial data into clear recommendations for strategic decisions. - Drive continuous improvement of FP&A systems and processes. - Serve as a trusted advisor to business units and senior management. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop advanced financial models supporting single‑family rental portfolio decisions. - Conduct monthly/quarterly variance, trend, and scenario analyses; present findings to senior leadership and private equity stakeholders. - Lead the annual budgeting process; coordinate cross‑functional inputs, produce budgets, reforecasts, and ad‑hoc analyses. - Monitor forecasts, adjust for market changes, and evaluate performance against key metrics. - Partner with operations to optimize performance, manage cost efficiencies, and support liquidity planning. - Prepare high‑quality financial reports and executive dashboards. - Mentor and manage a small FP&A team; champion best practices and process efficiencies. **Required Skills:** - Deep understanding of real estate finance and business metrics. - Advanced Excel, financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting expertise. - Proficiency with ERP (Yardi) and BI tools (Snowflake, Power BI). - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication; presentation skills for non‑financial stakeholders. - Proven leadership and team‑management experience. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. - CPA or CFA designation. - Minimum 6 years FP&A or finance reporting experience in real estate, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
