Job Description
Job Title Business Development Manager – Field Based (D‑SNP) Role Summary Lead community outreach, marketing, and partnership initiatives to grow Dual Special Needs Plan (D‑SNP) membership. Translate market strategy into actionable tactics, manage local engagement programs, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Expectations - Achieve or surpass assigned sales and membership growth targets. - Ensure all outreach activities comply with state and municipal regulations. - Provide timely, accurate reporting and maintain high stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities - Develop and sustain relationships with local health agencies, community organizations, faith‑based groups, provider networks, and state departments. - Design, implement, and evaluate community outreach programs and pilot projects aligned with state priorities. - Collaborate with Sales & Marketing leadership to formulate market engagement initiatives; act as the organization’s representative at external meetings, conferences, and coalitions. - Manage the end‑to‑end grant process, recommend funding for projects, and oversee budget execution. - Maintain documentation and activity reports on SharePoint; coordinate internal event planning and stakeholder hosting. - Adapt to dynamic market conditions and support unified messaging across business segments. Required Skills - Strategic planning and project management. - Strong written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills. - Ability to build cross‑functional relationships and lead toward common goals. - Self‑directed, initiative‑driven, and adaptable in a high‑growth environment. - Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving abilities. Required Education & Certifications - Minimum 2 years Medicaid and/or Medicare sales experience; 2 years community outreach experience. - Health and Accident Producer license (or ability to obtain within 60 days). - Valid driver’s license; reliable transportation. - Ability to travel locally (≈75 %) and work nights/weekends as required.
