**Job Title**: Business Analyst **Role Summary** Act as subject‑matter expert on multiple IT platforms, leading requirements elicitation, documentation, and comprehensive end‑to‑end test plan creation and execution. Partner with developers, business owners, and internal customers to ensure requirements are captured, tested, and validated throughout development, integration, and post‑live updates, while maintaining compliance with enterprise standards. **Expectations** * Deliver clear, traceable business and technical requirements. * Maintain current test plans and documentation during development and change management cycles. * Ensure new or modified software meets enterprise standards and security policies. * Triage and document break‑fix incidents, providing actionable information to development teams. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead or participate in requirements and analysis sessions with internal clients. * Elicit, translate, and document technical aspects of business and admin tool requirements into Business Requirements. * Create transition plans for hand‑offs from contractors to internal resources. * Maintain SharePoint information sites for real‑time information sharing. * Become familiar with legacy applications and integrate them into test strategies. * Design, document, and execute test plans and test cases; continuously update them as products evolve. * Review business and functional requirements to ensure alignment with deliverables and enterprise standards. * Conduct regression testing during integration and post‑live updates. * Triage break‑fix items, duplicate errors in test environments, and coordinate with development resources. **Required Skills** * Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. * Proficiency in SQL Server scripting, stored procedures, and triggers. * Ability to create and execute detailed test plans with minimal guidance. * Excellent liaison skills with developers, business owners, and customers. * Insurance industry experience preferred. * Knowledge of Intelledox Infinity, BizTalk, Thunderhead, ImageNow (SmartComm), EDI processing. * Familiarity with PCI DSS, PHI security standards, and cybersecurity governance. * ITIL incident management experience. * Workflow and business process optimization expertise. **Required Education & Certifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. * Minimum 5 years Business Analyst experience within a software development organization. * ITIL certification (Incident Management). * Proven experience in workflow and business process optimization.
