Job Title: SVP Software Engineering
Role Summary:
Senior engineering executive responsible for defining and executing the technical vision, scaling and improving the software engineering organization, and aligning engineering initiatives with business strategy. Leads cross‑domain product and platform teams, drives modern practices, ensures delivery of secure, scalable solutions, and fosters a culture of innovation, learning, and high performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow distributed engineering teams across multiple product and platform domains.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture and product leadership to integrate technology strategy and business vision.
- Introduce and embed CI/CD, cloud‑native frameworks, infrastructure‑as‑code, and DevSecOps best practices.
- Define and enforce engineering standards, tooling strategies, and quality benchmarks.
- Ensure security, compliance, and reliability across all systems.
- Partner with stakeholders to deliver features, products, and enhancements on schedule and with high quality.
- Establish and track engineering KPIs (code quality, release velocity, uptime, incident rates, etc.).
- Mentor, coach, and develop engineering talent, creating clear career paths.
- Champion agile methodologies and modern DevOps principles to increase delivery efficiency.
- Drive hiring strategy, onboarding, and engagement programs to attract and retain top technical talent.
Required Skills:
- Proven leadership of large, distributed engineering organizations in complex technology environments.
- 10+ years in senior engineering leadership roles.
- Strong expertise in agile delivery models, DevSecOps, and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Deep experience with cloud‑native technologies: container orchestration, microservices, and AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms.
- Ability to align engineering execution with architectural roadmaps and enterprise priorities.
- Process improvement, tooling, and technical coaching to scale engineering maturity.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder influence abilities.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Relevant certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent cloud and DevOps credentials are advantageous.
