Full Stack AI Engineer
**Role summary**
Build, deploy, and maintain end‑to‑end AI‑enabled web applications, leveraging React.js, Node.js, and Python. Orchestrate large language model (LLM) services, ensuring robust API design, scalable cloud integration, and high‑quality user experiences.
**Expectations**
- Deliver production‑grade code within agile timelines.
- Maintain clean architecture, modular components, and comprehensive documentation.
- Apply best practices for security, performance, and accessibility.
- Monitor LLM performance, troubleshoot incidents, and drive continuous improvement.
**Key responsibilities**
1. Design and implement responsive front‑end interfaces using React, HTML5, CSS3, and Tailwind or styled‑components.
2. Develop RESTful APIs and microservices in Node.js and Python (Flask/FastAPI).
3. Integrate and orchestrate LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) using LangChain or LlamaIndex.
4. Build evaluation pipelines – calculate hallucination rates, apply QA metrics, and refine models.
5. Deploy applications on GCP/AWS/Firebase, manage CI/CD, and enforce infrastructure as code.
6. Implement LLM observability with LangSmith, Opik, or Comet; set alerts and dashboards.
7. Ensure graceful error handling for AI components (fallbacks, timeouts, degradation).
8. Collaborate with UX engineers on component‑based design and accessibility.
9. Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing sessions.
**Required skills**
- 5+ years full‑stack development (React.js, Node.js, Python).
- Proficient with HTML5, CSS3, ES6+.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS or styled‑components.
- Strong grasp of RESTful APIs, microservices, and service orchestration.
- Familiarity with cloud services (GCP, AWS, Firebase).
- Git and agile workflows; familiar with build tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel).
- LLM integration: OpenAI, Anthropic APIs; orchestration with LangChain/LlamaIndex.
- Model evaluation: hallucination detection, QA metrics.
- AI observability: LangSmith, Opik, Comet.
- Robust error handling for AI systems.
- UI/UX best practices, responsive/mobile‑first design.
**Required education & certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Optional certifications in cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) or AI/ML specialties.
