About the Company

Sanderson Government & Defence was established over 20 years ago as a bespoke solution to a unique talent problem: sourcing and placing high-calibre professional talent to work within the UK government and defence sector.
MISSION
We provide talent solutions for the UK government and their critical supply chains, including: Ministry of Defence and areas of National Security; Central Government and Arm’s Length Bodies; National Policing and Justice; and the broader Public Sector.
EXPERTISE & SKILL
Central to our success has been understanding the government sector's intricate demands; appreciating government protocols, the need for security clearances combined with our knowledge of the specialised skills that set these roles apart. Our approach focuses on developing innovative strategies to penetrate this closed network, leveraging both technology and deep industry connections to source hard to find, hard to reach talent.
Our services encompass the full range of workforce management from contingent permanent and contract recruitment, to project RPO and embedded talent partner solutions, plus statement of work, MSP, and search offerings.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Our driving mission is to help the government and defence sector build the right teams and to be the leading innovative talent specialist, to both government and its associated supply chains. We recognise this sector, more than any other, relies on trust, reliability, and commitment so have dedicated ourselves to understanding the unique pressures and needs of each role.
By nurturing long-term relationships, not just with our clients, but with candidates themselves, we ensure every placement is more than a match on paper; it is a fit in ethos and dedication.
The rewards of this approach are manifold. Contributing to the nation's safety and security by solving talent puzzles is profoundly satisfying. Each successful placement means a critical project receives the talent needed to progress, further securing our nation.
