**Job Title:** Quantitative Analyst **Role Summary:** Transition from academic research into financial markets by applying quantitative analysis and algorithmic trading strategies to develop and optimize investment models. Collaborate with portfolio managers and automate trading systems. **Expectations:** Self-driven problem-solver with academic research experience. Ability to handle complex data and translate insights into actionable trading solutions. Strong coding and analytical skills for performance in a results-oriented environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Execute projects to enhance existing trading strategies. - Develop Python scripts and kdb+ databases for full trading system automation. - Analyze complex datasets to identify investment signals and predictive models. - Implement mathematical modeling to improve trading outcomes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project execution. **Required Skills:** - PhD in Mathematics, Physics, or related quantitative field. - Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities with attention to detail. - Python programming and statistical/machine learning modeling. - Experience handling large, unstructured datasets. - Excellent verbal and written communication. **Required Education & Certifications:** PhD and Master’s in Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent STEM field.
