Job Description

Job Title: Data Architect Role Summary: Own end‑to‑end data architecture vision, translating logical designs into physical databases and guiding data flow across processing stages. Drive data governance, migration, and integration to support enterprise data strategy. Expectations: - Deliver robust, reusable data solutions that align with enterprise standards and budget. - Lead cross‑functional technical teams, mentor vendors, and influence design decisions. - Balance creative solutions with technical rigor and enterprise‑grade delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Own data architecture design and solution delivery for business initiatives. - Ensure compliance with enterprise data standards and minimize complexity. - Approve and review detailed data designs from internal and third‑party sources. - Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs with analysts, architects, and vendors. - Develop data acquisition, archival, recovery, and implementation strategies. - Create logical models for databases, data warehouses, and multidimensional structures. - Establish architecture patterns, best practices, and stay abreast of emerging technologies. - Provide technical leadership, risk assessment, issue resolution, and escalation management. - Partner with PMs on delivery plans, cost estimation, and TCO projections. Required Skills: - 10+ years in data architecture, data warehousing, BI, and enterprise data management. - Expertise in data modeling, integration, governance, security, analytics, SQL, NoSQL, and big data. - Strong leadership, communication, and influencer skills. - Experience with Azure services (Synapse, Azure SQL, ADF), Power BI, and data integration tools (Informatica, MuleSoft). - Vendor management, project management, SDLC, and presentation abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Database Management, or related discipline. - Relevant certifications in data architecture, Azure, or related technologies are desired.
