Data Scientist – Innovation Lab
Role Summary
Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and AI‑driven solutions for diverse real‑world problems. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate objectives into analytical outputs, deliver impactful visualizations, and contribute to business‑development proposals.

Key Responsibilities
- Capture and analyse business requirements; translate them into data‑driven projects.
- Conduct data preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory analysis.
- Build, validate, and tune statistical and machine‑learning models (classification, regression, clustering, NLP, etc.).
- Develop visual analytics dashboards and concise reporting to communicate insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Package models for deployment on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and maintain reproducible pipelines.
- Support proposal development by outlining technical approaches and ROI.
- Document methodologies, code, and results for internal knowledge base.
Required Skills
- 2–5 years experience in data science, advanced analytics, or AI.
- Proficiency in Python and/or R; libraries: pandas, NumPy, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow/Keras, PyTorch, matplotlib, seaborn.
- Experience with NLP libraries (SpaCy, NLTK, Stanford NLP) and machine‑learning frameworks.
- Knowledge of cloud services (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and collaborative development practices.
- Fluent in French; intermediate‑to‑strong Dutch (B2); proficient English.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and mentorship abilities.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Econometrics.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified ML Specialty, TensorFlow Developer, or similar) are a plus.
