**Job Title:** Sourcing Specialist
**Role Summary:**
Early‑career, strategic sourcing role focused on food & beverage categories within a restaurant and manufacturing supply chain. Responsibilities include supplier discovery, negotiation, performance tracking, and cross‑functional coordination to meet quality, cost, and responsible sourcing objectives.
**Expectations:**
- 2–5+ years in purchasing, sourcing, distribution, or supply chain management.
- Food service, hospitality, or consumer packaged goods background preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with supply‑chain platforms (Arrowstream) a plus.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Act as internal subject‑matter expert on assigned categories; maintain current market and product knowledge.
- Identify, qualify, and onboard suppliers in line with company sourcing standards.
- Manage RFPs, award recommendations, and negotiate pricing agreements and terms.
- Track contract compliance, verify invoiced pricing, and monitor service level metrics.
- Conduct supplier business reviews, capture action items, and follow up on performance.
- Coordinate product changes, new item rollouts, and documentation across distributors and distribution centers.
- Update and maintain item records, support recall/withdrawal communications.
- Partner with culinary, FSQA, brand/marketing, finance, and operations teams on innovation, specification updates, and commercialization timelines.
- Contribute to cost‑savings pipeline through benchmarking, quoting, and opportunity identification.
- Develop tools, trackers, and documentation to improve sourcing workflows and transparency.
- Communicate project status clearly and on schedule.
