Job Description
**Software Engineer** **Role Summary:** Develop and maintain a high-transaction, secure enterprise platform using Microsoft technologies, modern APIs, and cloud infrastructure, emphasizing scalability, availability, and collaboration. **Expactations:** - Design and implement scalable software solutions within a high-volume, mission-critical environment. - Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges to ensure system reliability and performance. - Collaborate across cross-functional teams to refine requirements and deliver aligned solutions. - Maintain expertise in emerging technologies to drive innovation and code quality. - Commit to hybrid office attendance (2 days/week in Newcastle). **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect and optimize core platform components using MS .NET C#, Node.js, TypeScript, and Angular. - Automate infrastructure and CI/CD processes with Terraform, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Azure SQL, and MongoDB. - Participate in code reviews, agile scrums, and technical knowledge sharing. - Ensure compliance with security standards (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS) and system resilience. - Interface with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical deliverables. **Required Skills:** - Proficient in MS .NET C#, Node.js, TypeScript, Angular, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes. - Experience with cloud platforms (Azure) and relational/non-relational databases (Azure SQL MongoDB). - Strong problem-solving abilities and agile methodology familiarity. - Excellent communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical audiences. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. - Mandatory experience in full-stack software development, specifically with C#. - Professional certifications in Azure or .NET ecosystems (desirable but not mandatory).
