Job title: Director of Technology
Role Summary: Lead the enterprise technology strategy and operations for a high‑growth egg‑distribution company, driving digital transformation, system architecture, and innovation to support business objectives.
Expactations: Deliver scalable, secure, and integrated IT solutions that enable automation, AI, and data analytics across the organization. Align technology initiatives with business goals, manage cross‑functional teams, evaluate emerging tech, and ensure continuous improvement of the tech stack.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the technology roadmap aligned with company strategy.
- Lead digital transformation across all departments, integrating new automation, AI, and analytics solutions.
- Oversee IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
- Manage internal software development to support custom business processes.
- Evaluate, integrate, and consolidate technologies from acquisitions into the enterprise architecture.
- Ensure seamless integration between ERP (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) and other core systems.
- Select and manage software vendors, contracts, and performance metrics.
- Advise the executive team on technology investments, risks, and opportunities.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Evaluate and enforce IT policies, procedures, and governance.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and assess business impact.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Proven leadership in enterprise‑wide digital transformation and scaling technology operations in high‑growth environments.
- Deep knowledge of heterogeneous software ecosystems, ERP deployment (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central), and integrated sales, finance, and supply‑chain modules.
- Experience implementing system‑wide data analytics, AI, machine learning, and large‑language models for business insights and automation.
- Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and ability to align tech with business goals.
- Hands‑on leadership in building, mentoring, and managing technical teams in cross‑functional settings.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in API development, system interoperability, and enterprise architecture design.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central, Certified ScrumMaster, or similar) are preferred.
