Job Description
**Job Title:** Software Engineer II **Role Summary:** Designs, develops, and delivers full-stack software solutions with a focus on scalable systems, cloud-based deployments, and data-driven applications. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimize ETL workflows and API-centric solutions. **Expactations:** Minimum of 7 years of professional software engineering experience, including hands-on development of front-end and back-end systems. Demonstrated proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and cross-functional teamwork. Must pass a Position of Public Trust Level 5 background investigation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop responsive front-end components using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, Storybook, and Bootstrap. - Build and maintain backend systems with Spring Boot, Java, and Python. - Design and optimize ETL pipelines using Apache Spark for data processing. - Create relational and NoSQL database schemas to support analytics and transactional workflows. - Deploy cloud-based solutions on AWS (Lambda, Fargate). - Implement event-driven architectures and messaging protocols for distributed systems. - Design RESTful APIs compliant with OpenAPI/Swagger standards. - Contribute to full-stack applications using Node.js and Next.js. - Develop data-visualization tools and dashboards. - Debug and resolve complex technical issues using logs and monitoring tools. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, Python. - Experience with Angular, Spring Boot, Node.js, Next.js, Apache Spark, and AWS (Fargate, Lambda). - Knowledge of API design (OpenAPI/Swagger), Git version control, and Agile/Scrum practices. - Familiarity with Apache HTTP Server, Apache Spark, Storybook, and Bootstrap. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. - Must reside in the U.S. and pass a Level 5 background investigation.
