Job Description: **Job Title:** Project Engineer - Roadway **Role Summary:** Support project management and estimating functions for roadway projects, ensuring accurate planning, budget adherence, and timely delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality, safety, and compliance standards. **Expectations:** Deliver administrative and technical support to streamline project execution, from estimation to closure. Ensure compliance with contractual, safety, and regulatory requirements while optimizing project efficiency. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in project scheduling, including cash flow and workload planning. - Coordinate submittals, purchase orders, change orders, and subcontractor agreements. - Enforce OSHA compliance and company safety policies on-site. - Monitor project progress to ensure alignment with specifications and contractual obligations. - Prepare and maintain project documentation, including QA/QC records and closing reports. - Conduct pre-bid site assessments and attend project meetings (pre-bid, turnover). - Execute quantity takeoffs, material cost estimation, and subcontractor pricing. - Develop CPM schedules to outline production timelines. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in construction software (e.g., Procore, Build2Win, P6) preferred. - Strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills. - Ability to interpret contracts and technical documents. - Effective verbal and written communication. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. - Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction, with roadway/highway projects preferred. - Authorization to work in the U.S. required.
