**Job Title:** Application Support Systems Administrator
**Role Summary:**
Manage and support enterprise and plant‑level applications, serve as the primary technical owner, coordinate with vendors, and provide backup for core infrastructure administration. Act as a liaison between business units and IT to ensure application reliability, security, and optimal user experience.
**Expactations:**
- Maintain high application availability and performance.
- Deliver timely issue resolution and effective vendor escalation.
- Ensure accurate licensing, user provisioning, and documentation.
- Support on‑call and after‑hours requirements as needed.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and adhere to food‑safety policies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Own administration of enterprise apps (e.g., 8x8, SSO, Jira, Appian, TraceGains, camera/badge systems) and plant software (Red Zone, Patch, etc.).
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, patches, and monitor application health.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application incidents in coordination with Help Desk.
- Manage vendor relationships for support cases, escalations, and upgrades.
- Gather business requirements from HR, Finance, Operations, etc., and translate into technical actions.
- Oversee licensing management and user provisioning for assigned applications.
- Align application dependencies with infrastructure (servers, storage, networking, identity).
- Assist with identity and access management (OneLogin, Entra ID/Azure AD, Active Directory).
- Create and maintain runbooks, documentation, and knowledge‑base content.
- Develop and use scripting tools (PowerShell, API integrations) to automate routine tasks.
- Identify and implement improvements for stability, security, and user experience.
- Provide backup support for Windows Server, VMware, patching, and backup operations.
- Cross‑train team members to ensure operational continuity.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong expertise in enterprise application administration.
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Familiarity with IAM solutions (OneLogin, Entra ID/Azure AD, Active Directory).
- Vendor and software licensing management.
- Scripting/automation (PowerShell; Python and API skills preferred).
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication abilities.
- Ability to work with technical teams and non‑technical business stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and process‑driven skills.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field **or** equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of IT systems administration and/or enterprise application support experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, ITIL, IAM) are a plus but not mandatory.
