Job Description
Job Title: Software Engineer Intern Role Summary: Assist an agile development team in designing, coding, testing, and delivering embedded software solutions for automotive applications, including virtual ECUs and DevOps tasks. Expectations: * Complete assigned deliverables within sprint schedules. * Apply best practices in software design and test‑driven development. * Collaborate effectively with team leads and peers. * Maintain code quality, documentation, and adherence to specifications. Key Responsibilities: * Write, review, and debug code in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, and Python. * Develop and maintain embedded software components for automotive platforms. * Participate in the development of virtual ECU prototypes. * Contribute to DevOps activities, including build pipelines and automated testing. * Conduct unit, integration, and system testing following TDD principles. * Engage in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospective meetings. Required Skills: * Proficiency in at least one of: C/C++, Java, Python. * Understanding of object‑oriented design and software architecture. * Familiarity with embedded systems development concepts. * Strong time management, communication, and problem‑solving abilities. * Creative and innovative thinking in software solutions. Required Education & Certifications: * Undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. * Current enrollment and active participation in a university coursework‑related internship program.
