Job Description
**Job Title:** Assistant Project Manager **Role Summary:** Entry‑level project management professional supporting the planning, execution, and close‑out of higher‑education construction and real‑estate projects, primarily in the pre‑construction and implementation phases. **Expectations:** - Manage multiple small‑to‑mid sized projects ($10 M+ total cost). - Provide client‑focused advice on schedule, budget, scope, and quality. - Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to mitigate risks. - Produce clear, on‑time deliverables (reports, budgets, schedules). - Participate in business development activities and continuous learning initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in project start‑up, concept development, and feasibility studies. - Develop and monitor budgets, schedules, and cost estimates. - Coordinate AE/CM solicitation, third‑party procurement, and design reviews. - Monitor construction progress, attend and lead Owner–Architect–Contractor meetings. - Conduct quality control checks on documents and deliverables. - Track logistical and constructability plans, ensuring compliance. - Support senior project managers on larger projects during all phases. - Generate written reports, presentations, and program documents tailored to client needs. - Engage in business‑development outreach, including article writing and prospecting. **Required Skills:** - Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication. - Excellent organization, time management, and independent work capability. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or RS Means is a plus. - Ability to travel up to 30 %. - Demonstrated teamwork in a fast‑paced environment. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or related field (preferred). - Minimum of internship experience in construction management and project administration. - Full authorization to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship required). ---
