Job Description
**Job Title:** Application Developer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications across Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and emerging cloud/AI platforms. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable solutions, integrate web services, and support HHS (including NIH) client environments. **Expectations:** - Mid‑level: ≥ 6 years of relevant experience. - Senior: ≥ 10 years of relevant experience. - Active TS/SCI clearance (or willingness to obtain) and ability to secure Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness as required. - Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions. - Create and maintain T‑SQL code for SQL Server, including stored procedures and functions. - Build application components using .NET, C#, Java, or related web service technologies. - Implement web service calls and integrate applications with databases. - Support and enhance applications on Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, cloud, and AI platforms. - Gather and incorporate user feedback to improve functionality and usability. - Participate in automated testing and quality assurance activities. **Required Skills:** - Oracle SQL/PLSQL development. - SQL Server/T‑SQL development. - Proficiency in .NET, C#, Java, or comparable programming languages. - Experience with web services and application‑to‑database integration. - Familiarity with cloud and AI technology implementations. - Strong problem‑solving abilities in collaborative team settings. - Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholder groups. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. - Active TS/SCI clearance (or eligibility to obtain) and ability to maintain required security determinations.
