**Job Title:** Intern - Florida Environmental Internship **Role Summary:** Part-time (12–24 hours/week) paid internship supporting biological resources and land management projects in Florida (Spring 2026). Focus on fieldwork and research related to environmental protection, land use, and sustainability. **Expectations:** Commit to 4-month program (Spring 2026) with preference for in-person/hybrid attendance in Tampa, Florida. Open to current university students or recent graduates (graduate students eligible). **Key Responsibilities:** Conduct field assignments (e.g., biological surveys, compliance monitoring); analyze environmental data; support public outreach and reporting; draft technical/business documents; manage databases; collaborate on interdisciplinary projects; operate field equipment and 4WD vehicles; adhere to safety and regulatory protocols. **Required Skills:** Strong communication and teamwork abilities; attention to detail; capacity to work in physical field conditions (lift 40 lbs, traverse rough terrain, tolerate inclement weather); proficiency in data entry and document preparation; valid driver’s license with off-road vehicle experience preferred. **Required Education & Certifications:** Pursuing or holding a degree in Biology/Natural Resource Management, Environmental Planning, Geospatial Systems (GIS), Environmental Engineering, Climate Change/Sustainability, or related fields.
