Job Description
**Job Title:** UX/UI Design Consultant **Role Summary:** Design and deliver user‑centric digital experiences for enterprise platforms, applying UX and UI principles to create scalable, accessible solutions that drive measurable business value. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in agile environments to translate user and business requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs. **Expectations:** - 1–3 years of experience in UX/UI design for complex, fast‑paced settings, preferably in large‑scale or enterprise environments. - Human‑first mindset with strong problem‑solving skills. - Ability to manage ambiguity, take ownership, and iterate based on stakeholder and user feedback. - Continuous learning, adaptability, and willingness to experiment with emerging design tools and technologies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct user research (surveys, interviews, usability testing) to identify needs and gaps. - Create user flows, wireframes, mock‑ups, and interactive prototypes using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch. - Apply accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles. - Develop responsive/adaptive designs for web and mobile platforms. - Collaborate with product managers, developers, data scientists, and SMEs to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with strategic objectives. - Present concepts, workshops, and deliverables to stakeholders, articulating design rationale and decisions. - Contribute to and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across solutions. - Engage with data‑driven applications and visualisation tools to enhance user experience. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in design tools: Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or equivalent. - Strong visual, interaction, and information architecture skills. - Familiarity with user research methods and applying insights to design decisions. - Knowledge of accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and inclusive design. - Understanding of responsive/adaptive design for web and mobile. - Basic HTML/CSS knowledge; understanding of implementation constraints. - Experience working in agile/iterative development cycles. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human–Computer Interaction, Psychology, Computer Science, or related discipline. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Nielsen Norman Group UX Design, Adobe Certified Expert) are considered a plus.
