Job Description
**Job Title:** Data Quality Analyst **Role Summary:** Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data through design, implementation, and monitoring of data quality processes, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and comply with regulatory standards. **Expectations:** - Deliver reliable data for business decisions and regulatory compliance. - Work independently and as part of a cross‑functional data governance team. - Translate data quality insights into actionable recommendations for non‑technical stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, build, and maintain data profiling, cleaning, and validation pipelines for financial datasets. - Develop automated quality checks and dashboards that provide real‑time visibility into data integrity. - Conduct root‑cause analysis of anomalies, inconsistencies, and gaps in data. - Partner with IT, data engineering, risk, and compliance to resolve issues and enhance data governance. - Define and enforce data quality standards aligned with GDPR, PCI‑DSS, and other regulatory requirements. - Champion initiatives to optimize data workflows and streamline data management processes. - Produce detailed data quality reports and visualizations for senior management and stakeholders. - Support audits and compliance checks by delivering comprehensive documentation of data quality practices. **Required Skills:** - 3+ years in data quality management, governance, or analysis within financial services. - Expertise in Snowflake for data warehousing, design, and maintenance. - Advanced SQL for data manipulation and quality checks. - Proficient with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and data quality/orchestration platforms. - Strong understanding of ETL processes and modern data warehousing concepts. - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across teams. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field. - Optional: CDMP, DAMA, or similar data management/analytics certifications. ---
