**Job Title:** Senior DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary**
Lead the design and implementation of automated CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure optimization, and system modernization. Oversee end-to-end DevOps processes to ensure scalability, security, and efficiency, aligning technical strategies with business objectives.
**Expectations**
Demonstrate expert-level technical proficiency in cloud technologies, automation, and infrastructure as code. Apply advanced problem-solving skills to resolve complex system issues and mentor junior engineers. Drive compliance with SDLC, regulatory, and security standards.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Manage and scale Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions with Terraform, Ansible, or ARM templates.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and operational workflows to enhance team productivity.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate DevOps practices into the SDLC.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Modernize legacy systems and lead cloud-first infrastructure initiatives.
- Conduct technical mentoring and knowledge-sharing sessions for DevOps teams.
- Document technical processes and ensure compliance with regulatory and security frameworks.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging DevOps tools to improve operational efficiency.
**Required Skills**
- Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS familiarity preferred).
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Advanced IaC skills (Terraform, ARM, Ansible).
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Scripting/automation proficiency (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- System monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Splunk).
- Deep understanding of Secure SDLC and compliance standards (SOC, PCI DSS, ISO).
- Strong cross-team collaboration and communication abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Minimum 7+ years in Java or .NET development, with 5+ years in DevOps roles.
- 5+ years of IaC and cloud infrastructure management experience.
- 2+ years with Azure CLI, Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
- No formal certifications required; technical expertise must meet listed skill thresholds.
