**Job Title**
R&D Production Engineer – Quantitative & Applicative Support
**Role Summary**
Ensure end‑to‑end production stability of pricing platforms, monitor and troubleshoot pricing libraries and associated ecosystems, provide L2 support to global traders, risk managers and other stakeholders, and collaborate with R&D, operations, and infrastructure teams to maintain service availability and quality.
**Expectations**
- Deliver continuous, high‑availability support for pricing services used worldwide.
- Investigate, resolve, and document functional and, where needed, technical incidents.
- Maintain strong communication with users, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams.
- Participate in post‑incident reviews (PIRs) and improve processes and resilience.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Provide L2 support to users in EU, US, and HK across FX, Rates, and Credit products.
2. Monitor business processes (PnL, XVA, CCR, FRTB, VAR) and ensure correct pricing outputs.
3. Investigate functional incidents, coordinate with L3 (DEV, Quant, Ops) teams, and close tickets.
4. Troubleshoot issues in APIs, databases, and infrastructure impacting pricing.
5. Collaborate with Follow‑the‑Sun teams (Bangalore, Montreal) to sustain 24/7 production stability.
6. Update and enhance troubleshooting documentation, runbooks, and post‑incident reports.
7. Escalate and track incidents, keeping stakeholders informed of status and resolution.
8. Participate in “on‑call” duties during weekends or holidays as required.
**Required Skills**
- Deep understanding of financial products: Fixed Income, Currencies, Credit.
- Proficient in pricing valuation and Greeks (Delta, Vega, Theta).
- Knowledge of risk measures (VaR, XVA, CCR) and financial regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with end‑to‑end banking processes (front‑to‑back).
- Experience in monitoring, incident management, and root‑cause analysis.
- Strong communication, coordination, and customer‑service orientation.
- Ability to work autonomously, respond quickly, and handle complex problems.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Finance, or related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within a CIB or large banking environment.
- Fluent English; knowledge of French is advantageous.
- Technical background in software development lifecycle, algorithms, and IT environments is beneficial but not mandatory.
