Job Description: **Job Title:** Responsible Digital Intern **Role Summary:** At IJO, we assist organizations in making their digital operations sustainable. Combining consulting and applied research, we develop methods for IT carbon measurement, supplier data analysis, and reporting improvement. Contributions feed into a unique IT emission factors database to support mission efficiency. **Expectations:** - Motivated candidate with curiosity about environmental transition. - Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving skills. - Comfortable with structured data work and collaboration in dynamic teams. - Proficient in Excel and basic data tools (Python, Power BI, R). - Interest in sustainability, Green IT, and digital environmental impact. **Key Responsibilities:** - Support IT carbon audits (data collection, modeling, reporting). - Improve methods for calculating emission factors for digital services (software, SaaS, IaaS). - Analyze supplier carbon data to refine impact measurement models. - Update and validate IJO’s emission factors database. - Develop emission models for IT equipment and infrastructure. - Monitor innovations, regulations, and best practices in responsible digitalization. - Contribute to modules on sustainable digital strategies, procurement, network environmental impact, and IT architecture eco-design. **Required Skills:** - Data analysis, carbon footprint modeling, IT sustainability fundamentals. - Excel proficiency; familiarity with data tools (Python, Power BI, R). - Structured, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s/Master’s in engineering, data science, environmental science, or management (or equivalent). - Prior experience in sustainability, data analysis, or environmental projects preferred.
