Job Description
**Job Title:** Senior Sourcing Manager **Role Summary** Strategic leader responsible for managing enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives, optimizing supply chains, and driving cost savings through advanced supplier negotiations, process development, and cross-functional collaboration. **Expectations** Independently develop and execute strategic sourcing plans, lead complex negotiations, and deliver data-driven recommendations to senior management. Ensure procurement processes align with business objectives and supply market trends. **Key Responsibilities** - Negotiate and manage large-scale volume contracts without oversight. - Oversee supplier selection via RFP, RFQ, and RFI processes. - Assess supplier financial stability and total cost of ownership. - Partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure quality supplier responses. - Identify and implement cost savings opportunities. - Develop procurement strategies based on market analysis and benchmarking. - Coach and mentor procurement staff, including onboarding and career development. - Maintain compliance and optimize procurement processes through specification controls. **Required Skills** - Advanced project management and strategic sourcing expertise. - Strong analytical skills for interpreting financial data and large datasets. - Proficiency in contract negotiation (domestic and international). - Stakeholder management and cross-functional team leadership. - Critical thinking for drawing insights from financial models and business data. - Verbal and written communication for executive-level reporting. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in purchasing, supply chain, or related field; MBA preferred. - 6+ years in procurement/supply chain management roles with demonstrated leadership. - Experience managing P&L or budgets. - Proven track record in strategic sourcing and contract negotiation.
