Job Description
**Job Title** Senior Presales Engineer **Role Summary** Lead client-facing technical engagement for telecom software solutions in France, supporting sales teams in complex solution design and commercialization of 5G, IMS, and packet core offerings. **Expectations** Deliver expert technical pre-sales support, shape customer-centric solutions, and influence product strategy while collaborating with engineering and sales teams. **Key Responsibilities** - Collaborate with sales leaders and product teams to design and present technical solutions for Tier 1/2 telecom operators. - Lead pre-sales processes including RFX responses, proof-of-concept (PoC) execution, bid preparation, and customer presentations. - Design packet core, IMS, and messaging architectures aligned with business and technical requirements. - Translate technical specifications into clear value propositions for business stakeholders. - Identify customer requirements, develop bespoke solutions, and provide feedback to internal product roadmaps. - Represent the company in technical workshops and meetings with senior telecom stakeholders. - Author technical collateral, timelines, and documentation to support commercial proposals. **Required Skills** - Expert knowledge of 5G Core, IMS (VoLTE/VoNR), EPC, and messaging technologies. - Proven experience in pre-sales engineering, technical strategy, or solutions design within telecoms. - Proficiency in cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, NFVi) and 3GPP/xRAN/oRAN standards. - Strong IT/OSS integration experience for telco environments, particularly small cell deployments. - Advanced communication skills to simplify technical concepts for business leaders. - Demonstrated track record of working directly with Tier 1/2 telecom operators. - Native or fluent French with English proficiency for cross-regional collaboration. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or related field. - Telecommunications certifications (e.g., 5G, IMS, NFVi) preferred but not mandatory.
