Job Description
Job Title: Software Developer Role Summary Design, develop, test, and maintain Windows and web software applications using VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Microsoft SQL Server. Manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment, optimize SQL Server performance, and produce technical documentation and SSRS reports. Expectations - Deliver high‑quality software on time and within scope. - Collaborate with management, end users, and colleagues to gather requirements and provide technical solutions. - Continuously learn and apply modern development technologies and best practices. Key Responsibilities - Utilize Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, and established coding standards. - Create, maintain, and optimize SSRS reports and SQL Server architecture. - Design, code, test, and implement new Windows and web applications; enhance existing systems. - Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects. - Develop technical specifications, test plans, and operational documentation. - Manage user security for SQL applications. - Coordinate multiple concurrent projects and tasks. Required Skills - Proficient in VB.NET, C#, and ASP.NET MVC. - Strong SQL Server knowledge (design, performance tuning, security). - Experience with SSRS, Microsoft Dynamics GP or CRM. - Familiarity with Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, and Windows development environments. - Ability to write clear technical documentation and test plans. - Excellent multitasking, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience. - Candidacy for a qualification in Dynamics GP or CRM is preferred.
