Job Description
**Job Title** Desktop Support Specialist **Role Summary** Provide end‑to‑end desktop, server, and network support for users across EMEA offices and remote sites. Deploy and maintain hardware, network kits, AV solutions, and streaming infrastructure while ensuring security, compliance, and optimal performance. Coordinate projects, manage vendors, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement efficient IT solutions. **Expectations** - 3+ years of IT support experience, preferably in a corporate or managed services environment. - Fluency in English (required) and French (preferred). - Ability to work independently and as part of geographically distributed teams. - Strong problem‑solving and communication skills. **Key Responsibilities** - Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, network kits, and AV solutions for EMEA sites. - Manage and support server migration and transition projects with minimal downtime. - Conduct link redundancy tests and validate failover mechanisms. - Ensure desktop compliance with security policies; respond to alerts and perform virus scans. - Maintain asset database and update records for all supported sites. - Identify and recommend optimization opportunities for mobile platforms and network services. - Liaise with infrastructure managers, data centre teams, network, infosec, and infrastructure towers. - Manage relationships with local network providers (e.g., Swisscom, Canon). **Required Skills** - Technical proficiency in server infrastructure, network architecture, and desktop deployment. - Project coordination across multiple regions. - Troubleshooting, risk assessment, and compliance enforcement. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Detail‑oriented documentation and asset management. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). - CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Engineer (MCDSE) preferred.
