Job Description

**Job Title:** Senior Fullstack Node.js Engineer **Role Summary:** Lead the development of core backend features for a cross‑platform gaming analytics platform, extend data coverage for consoles, and collaborate with product and data teams to shape architecture and scalability. The role is hybrid (one day per week onsite in London). **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality, maintainable code in Node.js/TypeScript. - Drive feature development from concept to production. - Contribute to platform architecture and performance optimization. - Work effectively in a fast‑paced, startup‑like environment. - Demonstrate a strong interest in gaming and data‑driven insights. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs. - Integrate and expand relational data models in PostgreSQL. - Collaborate with product managers and data engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions. - Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration pipelines. - Provide input on front‑end implementation using Angular, React, or Vue as needed. - Assist in scaling the platform to handle increasing data volume and user traffic. **Required Skills:** - Advanced proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript. - Strong experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases. - Familiarity with front‑end frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue). - Understanding of RESTful API design, micro‑services, and cloud deployment. - Ability to write clean, testable code and use version control (Git). - Passion for gaming and data analytics. - Experience in agile, startup, or high‑growth environments. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., Node.js, TypeScript, cloud platforms) are a plus but not mandatory.
