Job Description: Job title: Azure Cloud Engineer Role Summary: Design, deploy, and maintain Azure infrastructure solutions, enabling secure, scalable cloud operations through programming-as-code, automation, and continuous integration practices. Expectations: Deliver reliable, secure Azure environments; collaborate with cross‑functional teams; enforce security and compliance; drive automation and performance monitoring; act as a technical mentor. Key Responsibilities: • Provision and orchestrate Azure hub‑spoke networks, compute, and storage using IaC (Bicep, ARM Templates, CLI, PowerShell). • Administer identity & access management, and integrate third‑party tools into Azure. • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automating build, test, and deployment workflows. • Monitor cloud and on‑prem platform health, performance, and availability, and respond to alerts. • Implement and maintain security controls aligned with company policies across all cloud services. • Participate in architectural discussions and guide stakeholders on modern cloud design and delivery. • Partner with product owners and business teams to support digital transformation initiatives through resource orchestration and configuration expertise. Required Skills: • 5+ years of Azure infrastructure experience. • Proficiency in IaC (Bicep, ARM Templates, Azure CLI, PowerShell). • DevOps pipeline experience (CI/CD) on Azure. • Strong knowledge of Azure networking, compute, and storage services. • Identity & access management, monitoring, and security best practices. • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills. • Self‑motivated with a continuous learning mindset. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (equivalent work experience acceptable). • Azure certifications such as AZ‑104, AZ‑303/304, or AZ‑400 preferred.
