Job Title: System/Network Engineer for MSP Role Summary: Full-time engineer responsible for on‑site network administration, design, troubleshooting, and security for a portfolio of client sites, providing hands‑on support and proactive maintenance. Expectations: Deliver reliable network solutions, ensure high availability and security standards, collaborate with clients and internal teams, and support continual service improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software. - Perform network performance monitoring, capacity planning, and issue resolution. - Design and implement network architectures to meet client business requirements. - Conduct security assessments, apply patches, and enforce firewall and VPN policies. - Provide on‑site client support, including troubleshooting and system upgrades. - Document configurations, change management, and incident reports. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate network services with broader IT solutions. Required Skills: - Strong network administration and engineering expertise (LAN/WAN, routing, switching). - Proficient in diagnosing and resolving complex network issues. - Knowledge of network security protocols, tools, and best practices. - Experience with network design, implementation, and documentation. - Analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Effective written and verbal communication. - Self‑motivated and able to work independently or collaboratively.
