**Job Title**
Senior Cloud Engineer
**Role Summary**
Design, implement, and operate Cegid’s cloud platforms across private and public data centers. Ensure high performance, reliability, and cost‑effective operation of SaaS environments while driving continuous integration and delivery practices.
**Expactations**
- Lead cloud platform operations (run & build) for Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, OVH, Kyndryl, or GTT.
- Deliver industrialised, secure, and optimized cloud infrastructure.
- Maintain operational readiness and monitor performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external vendors.
- Demonstrate ownership, analytical thinking, and proactive teamwork.
- Communicate in English (B2 oral & written).
**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain and supervise continuous deployment pipelines and cloud environments.
- Design and evolve infrastructure and services, ensuring industrialisation, security, and cost optimisation.
- Manage incidents, escalation, and vendor relations to guarantee platform reliability.
- Document, share, and transfer technical knowledge to internal teams.
- Engage in technology scouting, continuous improvement, and obtain necessary certifications.
**Required Skills**
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, OVH, Kyndryl, GTT).
- Experience in Windows and/or Linux administration, scripting, VMware, Kubernetes.
- Automation expertise: Terraform, Ansible, Puppet.
- Database knowledge: SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Oracle, MySQL.
- CI/CD: Azure DevOps, GitHub.
- Monitoring: Dynatrace or equivalent.
- Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Professional cloud certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect) preferred.
