Build robust orchestration, state‑management, and audio processing systems, and ensure seamless integration with telephony and cloud services. **Expectations:** - 5+ years of experience delivering large‑scale distributed or real‑time systems. - Proven ability to own end‑to‑end solutions from prototype to production. - Strong problem‑solving mindset with a focus on reliability, performance, and observability. **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect and implement the agent runtime for multi‑turn, personalized phone interactions. - Develop high‑availability audio streaming, speech‑to‑text/text‑to‑speech pipelines, and multi‑agent coordination. - Create sandboxed, monitored execution environments for third‑party integrations (e.g., Twilio, LiveKit, ElevenLabs, Supabase, Azure). - Build evaluation frameworks for latency, call quality, and conversation success; automate regression testing and A/B experiments. - Translate new agent capabilities from research prototypes into production‑ready services. **Required Skills:** - Proficient programming in **TypeScript**, **Python**, or **Go**; API and service design experience. - Deep knowledge of **distributed systems**, **containers**, **concurrency**, and production **observability** (metrics, logging, tracing). - Hands‑on experience with **audio streaming**, **WebRTC**, or telephony APIs (Twilio, SIP, PSTN). - Strong understanding of state management, memory persistence, and real‑time orchestration. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience). - No specific certifications required; relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) are a plus.
