Job Description
**Job Title:** Data Science Intern – Summer 2026 **Role Summary:** 11‑week internship focused on applying statistical analysis and machine‑learning techniques to derive actionable insights for marketing, product, and promotional initiatives. Works closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to design, build, and present data‑driven models and recommendations. **Expectations:** - Collaborate effectively and build partnerships to meet shared objectives. - Demonstrate a customer‑centric mindset and deliver solutions aligned with internal/external needs. - Foster an inclusive environment and respect diverse perspectives. - Exhibit innovative thinking, questioning assumptions and proposing new approaches. - Pursue continuous self‑development through formal and informal learning. - Communicate clearly, multitask, and adapt to evolving project priorities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform statistical analysis, data mining, exploratory analysis, and A/B testing on large datasets. - Develop, train, and evaluate machine‑learning models for audience targeting (relevancy, retargeting, look‑alike, etc.). - Translate business requirements into data‑driven solutions and predictive models. - Create and deliver clear visualizations, reports, and presentations to influence strategy. - Research deep data relationships to enhance ML/AI algorithms. - Collaborate with team members and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. **Required Skills:** - Strong foundation in statistical methods, machine‑learning algorithms, and modeling techniques. - Proficient in Python (including relevant libraries such as pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch). - Working knowledge of SQL and experience handling large‑scale data. - Ability to visualize data and communicate insights effectively. - Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Currently pursuing a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
