Job Description

Job title: SAP Security Specialist Role Summary: Architect and enforce security controls across SAP environments, leveraging SAP GRC Access Control to manage permissions, prevent unauthorized access, and monitor compliance. Expectations: Deliver robust security governance, minimize risk exposure, and support data protection standards in line with organizational policies. Key Responsibilities: - Configure and maintain SAP security landscapes (roles, profiles, authorizations). - Implement SAP GRC Access Control projects, including risk assessment, segregation of duties, and periodic remediation. - Monitor security events and audit logs, verify compliance with internal and external requirements. - Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediate findings. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate security into business processes and support change management. - Produce periodic security metrics, reports, and recommendations to leadership. Required Skills: - Deep knowledge of SAP security architecture and SAP GRC Access Control. - Strong grasp of information‑security principles (risk management, compliance, audit). - Analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving abilities. - Effective communication and stakeholder management. - Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. - SAP Certified Security Associate or equivalent SAP security certification (preferred).
