Job Description: **Job Title** Mechanical‑Electronics (Mechatronics) Prototype Development Intern **Role Summary** Support end‑to‑end design and validation of an industrial mechatronic system prototype. Engage in 3‑D mechanical modelling, electronics integration, user‑interface assembly, bill‑of‑materials creation, cost estimation, and prototype testing within a 4‑ to 6‑month internship. **Expectations** - Deliver a fully documented, functional prototype combining mechanical, electronic, and ergonomic components. - Work independently and collaboratively, providing analytical solutions and constructive feedback. - Meet project milestones and quality standards in a hybrid working environment. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Design and 3‑D model a ~3 m × 2 m machine, including actuators, mechanical structures, and support systems. 2. Integrate pressure and temperature sensors, HMI, control electronics, and pump into the machine. 3. Compile a comprehensive BOM, identify suppliers, and estimate production costs. 4. Participate in prototype assembly, debugging, and performance testing. 5. Document design decisions, test results, and user‑experience observations. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in 3‑D CAD (SolidWorks, CATIA, or equivalent). - Fundamental knowledge of electronic circuits and embedded system programming. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. - Strong analytical reasoning, problem‑solving, and attention to detail. - Effective written and verbal communication for documentation and collaboration. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current enrollment or recent graduation in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field (Bac+3 – Bac+5). - Coursework or experience in mechatronic system design, embedded systems, or industrial automation is preferred. ---
