Job Description

Job Title: Final-Year Internship – Financial Audit (3/4 Months) Role Summary Short‑term, entry‑level internship in a multinational audit firm. The intern will join the audit team as a junior member, working on statutory audit, contractual audit, and sustainability audit engagements for French and international clients. The role involves risk assessment, substantive testing, financial statement review, audit reporting, and participation in inventory counts. Collaboration with the Performance Finance team on consolidation and IFRS/Tax reviews is possible. Expectations • Deliver audit evidence and analyses that meet firm and regulatory standards. • Maintain professionalism, strict confidentiality, and quality control. • Communicate findings clearly in written reports and oral presentations. • Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary audit team. Key Responsibilities 1. Assess client business activities and audit objectives. 2. Perform control environment reviews and risk evaluations. 3. Execute audit procedures across accounting cycles (assets, liabilities, equity, P&L). 4. Prepare audit documentation, working papers, and summary reports. 5. Participate in physical inventory counts and related confirmations. 6. Coordinate with senior auditors and partners for audit planning and execution. 7. Support Performance Finance initiatives on consolidation, IFRS, and tax matters (if assigned). Required Skills - Strong analytical and accounting knowledge (GAAP, IFRS). - Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel. - Excellent written and spoken communication in French and English (professional level). - Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines. - Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced, collaborative work environment. Required Education & Certifications - Current student in a business school, university, or pursuing a DCG/DSCG (or equivalent). - Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (or 4‑year undergrad) with enrollment toward a master’s (‑5) in finance, accounting, or related field. - Knowledge of audit methodology and financial reporting is advantageous. ---
