Job Description

Job Title AI Engineer Role Summary Lead the design, development, and deployment of generative AI solutions to fulfill diverse customer missions. Deliver end‑to‑end AI projects—from problem definition and data preparation to model training, evaluation, and production deployment—while continuously optimizing performance and exploring emerging technologies. Expectations - Deliver high‑impact AI products and prototypes on time and within scope. - Drive innovation through independent research and application of generative techniques. - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing. - Maintain active Top Secret clearance and comply with security protocols. Key Responsibilities - Design, build, and deploy generative AI systems tailored to customer needs. - Own full AI solution lifecycle: problem scoping, data prep, model development, evaluation, and deployment. - Iterate on models to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. - Collaborate with program managers, subject matter experts, architects, product designers, and data scientists to translate requirements into mission‑ready solutions. - Conduct research, prototype new AI technologies, and assess their applicability. - Produce technical documentation, design reports, and presentations for technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Required Skills - 3+ years of experience building and deploying AI/ML models. - At least 1 year developing products or prototypes using LLMs, RAG, or similar technologies. - Proficiency in generative AI frameworks (e.g., GAN, GPT, LangChain). - Advanced prompt engineering knowledge for generative models. - Strong programming skills in Python or Java (or equivalent). - Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and fundamentals. - Excellent written and verbal communication; able to produce clear design documents and reports. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field (MS or Ph.D. preferred). - Active Top Secret security clearance.
