**Job Title:** Senior Project Engineer – IT Services
**Role Summary:**
Lead design, implementation, and delivery of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with industry best practices. Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintain a modern cloud datacentre platform across multiple clients.
**Expectations:**
- Manage end‑to‑end project lifecycle independently, including scope, timelines, budget, documentation, and reporting.
- Maintain strong client relationships and deliver tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with senior engineering teams and cross‑functional stakeholders, communicating progress and risks effectively.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, configure, and deploy enterprise technologies (Microsoft, VMware, Dell, FortiGate, Veeam, Hyper‑V).
- Set up and maintain networking equipment: switches, routers, firewalls, storage, Wi‑Fi.
- Implement virtualisation and high‑availability architectures (clusters, HA, DR, business continuity).
- Manage Active Directory across multi‑site environments.
- Administer Microsoft 365 services (email, security, MFA, productivity apps).
- Physically install hardware in customer server cabinets.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, escalating appropriately.
- Produce project documentation, status reports, and time‑tracking records.
**Required Skills:**
- Senior technical delivery or operations experience in IT services/managed services.
- Proficient with Windows/Linux servers, VMware/Hyper‑V virtualization, Fortinet security appliances.
- Strong architectural and solution‑design capabilities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client‑facing skills.
- Self‑managed project planning, reporting, and documentation.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., MCITP, VMware Certified Professional, Fortinet NSE, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Veeam Certified Associate).
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
