Job Description: Job Title: AI/ML Engineer Role Summary: Develop, deploy, and scale production‑grade machine learning pipelines that transform unstructured clinical text into structured, analysis‑ready data. Lead end‑to‑end solutions from prototype model workflows to high‑throughput inference systems, collaborating with product, clinical, and engineering teams to optimize model performance and delivery quality. Expactations: - 3+ years of hands‑on experience building and deploying ML/AI systems in production. - Strong Python development with production‑quality codebases. - Expertise in modern NLP/ML frameworks (PyTorch, Hugging Face, spaCy). - Practical experience with large‑scale unstructured data and LLMs (prompt engineering, fine‑tuning, evaluation). - Comfortable in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments; self‑driven and iterative. Key Responsibilities: - Design and build robust ML pipelines for LLM application to clinical text. - Develop systems for information extraction, entity resolution, data normalization, and QA. - Build and scale inference infrastructure for large datasets. - Prototype, evaluate, and refine prompts, model configurations, and workflows. - Implement monitoring, observability, and iterative model improvement tools. - Translate research prototypes into reliable, testable, maintainable production code. - Collaborate cross‑functionally with clinical experts and product leads to embed domain knowledge into model workflows. Required Skills: - Python, PyTorch, Hugging Face, spaCy, and other NLP libraries. - LLM expertise: prompt engineering, fine‑tuning, evaluation, observability. - Experience with large‑scale unstructured or semi‑structured data processing. - Ability to build scalable inference pipelines (cloud or on‑prem). - Strong debugging, performance optimization, and code quality practices. - Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative mindset. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field. - No mandatory certifications, though knowledge of HIPAA, data privacy, or compliance frameworks is a plus.
