Job Description
**Job Title:** Technology Architect Fellow – AI Enablement **Role Summary:** Assist IQT’s AI Enablement practice in evaluating and integrating frontier AI technologies from startups into national security missions. Conduct technical assessments, due‑diligence, and thought‑leadership to inform government partners and drive AI adoption across mission‑critical programs. **Expectations:** - Assess AI capabilities for relevance to national security. - Produce technical evaluation reports and requirements specifications. - Communicate complex AI concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. - Support deal‑making and project oversight with AI‑focused startups. **Key Responsibilities:** - Evaluate frontier AI models, agents, and data solutions for mission impact. - Develop and apply strategies for AI system assessment and validation. - Author technical assessment reports, proposal content, and AI system requirement documents. - Conduct technical due‑diligence on innovative AI startups for potential investment or partnership. - Present findings and recommendations to government and IQT mission partners. - Participate in project oversight, defining use cases, deployment considerations, and adoption pathways. - Lead or contribute to assessments of AI capabilities aligned with national security objectives. **Required Skills:** - Experience with software development lifecycle, operations, product rollout, or enterprise deployment. - Ability to evaluate AI models, generative/agentic AI, and related workflows (preferred). - Strong research skills across technical domains and startup ecosystems. - Excellent written and verbal communication; proven technical writing and proposal development. - Capability to translate complex AI topics for diverse audiences. - U.S. citizenship (contractual requirement). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Currently enrolled in, or candidate for, a graduate degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline. - No specific certifications required; relevant academic coursework and project experience in AI/ML is expected.
