**Job title:** Vice President, Inside Sales **Role Summary:** Lead and scale a national Inside Sales organization to achieve revenue targets while managing a balanced budget. Oversee hiring, training, coaching, and performance of 75+ sales professionals, aligning Inside Sales strategy with overall company goals and field sales initiatives. **Expectations:** - Deliver budgeted revenue across all programs and services. - Maintain high customer satisfaction and reduce operating expenses. - Provide data-driven insights and forecast accuracy to senior leadership. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and execute annual Inside Sales action plan and strategic roadmap. - Supervise 5 Sales Managers and their teams, ensuring alignment with field sales goals. - Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor Inside Sales and call center staff. - Design and maintain training programs focused on product knowledge and sales techniques. - Conduct forecast, pipeline review, and performance meetings with senior management. - Identify and develop new sales territories using enrollment data and market analytics. - Serve as escalation point for complex customer issues and internal conflicts. - Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Program Management to refine sales materials and respond to market trends. - Analyze industry trends, report opportunities, and recommend strategic actions. - Manage the Inside Sales budget, forecasting, and variance analysis in partnership with Finance. **Required Skills:** - Proven leadership of large Inside Sales or call center teams (10+ years). - Strong strategic planning, forecasting, and budgeting expertise. - Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution abilities. - Advanced Salesforce proficiency and comfort with CRM analytics. - Ability to partner with field sales and cross-functional teams. - Customer‑centric mindset with a track record of improving satisfaction. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field. - Experience in the public sector or public services preferred. - Educational industry experience (instructional resources, ed‑tech) is advantageous. ---
