Job Description
Job title: Senior Salesforce Solution Engineer Role Summary: Lead the design, configuration, and delivery of Salesforce Field Service and Service Cloud solutions for a global service organization. Drive end‑to‑end implementation, scalability, and process optimization, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to align technology with business strategy. Expactations: Deliver high‑quality Salesforce solutions that enable efficient field service, repair center, and customer support operations. Translate complex business requirements into scalable, sustainable platform configurations. Mentor junior analysts, ensure documentation and testing standards are met, and support continuous improvement of system capabilities. Key Responsibilities - Conduct structured requirements workshops, interviews, and story mapping sessions. - Translate business needs into clear user stories and functional specifications. - Design and document scalable Salesforce solutions across Field Service and Service Cloud, covering work order management, technician scheduling, mobile workflows, and case management. - Configure Salesforce objects, fields, flows, page layouts, and record‑triggered automations. - Collaborate with developers on integration design, data modeling, and platform extensions. - Participate in QA and UAT cycles, defect triage, and go‑live readiness activities. - Maintain system and business process documentation and support end‑user training. - Mentor and review work of junior analysts for accuracy and completeness. - Resolve production issues and communicate status to stakeholders. Required Skills - 7+ years of software development lifecycle experience, with demonstrated expertise on the Salesforce platform. - Proven experience implementing Salesforce Field Service and Service Cloud. - Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and ability to author clear user stories. - Hands‑on proficiency with Salesforce configuration and low‑code automation tools (Flow, Process Builder). - Experience mentoring junior team members and leading cross‑functional initiatives. - Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Salesforce certifications: Field Service Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, or Administrator (preferred). - Certified Scrum Master or Product Owner (preferred). - Any additional certifications in automated testing or business intelligence platforms are beneficial.
