**Job Title:** IT Cloud Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Implement, optimize, and secure Microsoft Azure infrastructure and related cloud services (365, Defender, Intune). Serve as escalation point for end‑user issues, collaborate with I&O Manager and Technical Architect, and drive cloud migration, cost efficiency, and security compliance.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver Azure migration and service optimization projects with security and cost best practices.
- Provide high‑quality support using Microsoft tools and RMM platform.
- Manage incidents, changes, and third‑party engagements through JIRA Service Management.
- Remediate vulnerabilities and contribute to the organization’s security posture.
- Exhibit strong communication, proactive ownership, and flexibility for site visits, out‑of‑hours work, and international travel.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Contribute to planning and execution of Azure cloud migrations.
- Optimize Azure resources for performance, security, and cost.
- Provision Windows devices, package software, and manage user identities via Microsoft tooling.
- Use RMM platform to support end users and resolve escalated issues.
- Coordinate third‑party service delivery to meet SLA terms.
- Track and resolve incidents and change requests in JIRA Service Management.
- Identify, remediate, and document security vulnerabilities.

**Required Skills:**
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS), Microsoft 365, Defender, Intune.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and cost‑optimization techniques.
- Experience with RMM tools and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
- Proficient in incident and change management (JIRA Service Management).
- Solid understanding of traditional IT infrastructure (servers, networking, storage).
- Excellent interpersonal and cross‑cultural communication skills.
- Ability to assess vendors/services objectively and drive IT improvements.
- Flexible availability for site visits, out‑of‑hours support, and travel.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Microsoft certifications preferred (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator).
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., Microsoft Security, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
