Business Intelligence Analyst
**Role Summary**
Develop, manage, and enhance contact‑centre reporting solutions using Power BI and Azure analytics. Lead the design and rollout of a workforce insights dashboard that integrates HCM and CCaaS data, ensuring high data quality, governance, and user adoption across the ministry’s 80+ contact centres.
**Expactations**
- Minimum 5 years of end‑to‑end BI experience, including Power BI development, DAX, and advanced analytics.
- Proven track record of delivering dashboards that blend complex data sets with actionable insights.
- Strong knowledge of contact‑centre SaaS systems and client interaction analytics.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and maintain traceable documentation.
- Commitment to data governance, security, and privacy standards.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Design, prototype, test, and launch a Power BI workforce insights dashboard integrating HCM metrics.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (technical & non‑technical) to align on business objectives and reporting needs.
- Document business and technical requirements, ensuring traceability and transparency.
- Create and deliver training materials and sessions for internal stakeholders to maximize dashboard usage.
- Identify, document, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Manage project deliverables, timelines, and action items; provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Present findings and visualisations in clear, concise formats suitable for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Enforce data governance and quality practices, and ensure compliance with data security and privacy guidelines.
**Required Skills**
- Power BI (desktop, report server, service) development, including advanced DAX (measures, calculated columns, time‑intelligence).
- Azure analytics tools (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Analysis Services) experience.
- Data modelling: dimensional and relational database design, SSAS, PowerView, Microsoft SQL Reporting.
- Experience with large, complex datasets for trend analysis, predictive analytics, and forecasting.
- Familiarity with contact‑centre as a service (CCaaS) solutions and client interaction data.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and privacy best practices.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Post‑secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- No specific certifications required; experience is the primary qualification.
