We are looking for an experienced AWS Data Architect to help support a key global customer. This role will be based in Bracknell and will require onsite attendance at least 2 days per week.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
Design and optimize data models on AWS Cloud using AWS data stores (Redshift)
Design operations architecture and conduct performance engineering for large scale data lakes in production environment
Participate in client design workshops and provide tradeoffs and recommendations towards building solutions.
Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture by designing and implementing data ingestion solutions on AWS
You will need to show strong proficiency in the following:
Strong experience in Enterprise data warehousing project/ETL (building ETL pipeline), Enterprise Data Engineering and Analytics projects.
Clear understanding Data warehousing and Data Lake concepts.
Hands-on experience in AWS or any one of the Cloud technologies.
Proven experience in data modelling & analysis, data migration strategy, cleanse and migrate large master data sets, data alignment across multiple applications, data governance.
Should be able to assist in making technology choices and decisions in an enterprise architecture scenario.
Actively participate in optimization and performance tuning of data ingestion and SQL processes
Understand business requirements and existing system designs, enterprise applications, IT security guidelines

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Capital Works Project Manager to join their team for a six-month contract.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
Planned/capital works surveying experience in housing refurbishment contracts
Management of 8+ technical staff members.
Have a strong contract management background in housing refurbishment contracts within a local authority or housing assn.
Lead on the management of multiple housing refurbishment contracts/projects ranging from £150k to £25 million.
Lead on housing refurbishment contracts procurement.
In this role, you will act as the client representative and perform the "informed client" role on behalf of the Project Owner or SHP Project Board, as appropriate, to pro-actively lead on the delivery of estate-wide property, building refurbishment and retro-fit sustainable projects.
This role will involve leading and delivering a diverse and exciting range of projects typically ranging between £1m and £15m. The successful candidates will be required to meet the needs of varying levels of stakeholders through the life of the project(s) and to report to all interested parties, including project boards, clients and stakeholders.
Some of the responsibilities for this role include:
You will provide leadership of major capital projects across the ensuring that project outcomes and requirements are adequately defined, and that the needs of the users and all other stakeholders, are fully understood and accounted for.
Establish and communicate the overall budget and timescales for projects.
Oversee the development of comprehensive Business Cases to the required standards and in accordance with House governance procedures, to obtain funding for the agreed scope of the project.
Ensure projects are procured in accordance with House guidelines and procedures.
Oversee the briefing, appointment and management of external consultant teams to enable successful project delivery.
